Our 2026-2027 Executive Team

  • Anna Nguyen (she/her)

    Executive Director

    Anna Nguyen is a current senior attending Abraham Lincoln High School and serves as the Executive Director for Youth for San Francisco. Anna is committed to civically educating youth and fostering youth advocacy, and is driven to make positive change by addressing local issues and empowering San Francisco youth. Through her roles in organizations including SFUSD’s Student Advisory Council, PACA (Providing Care and Advocacy for All) and previous experiences working at the San Francisco District Attorney’s office, Anna continues to strive for youth engagement in city affairs, imploring youth to become more involved and educated in vital decision making affecting our city and its citizens. Drawing from her previous experiences, Anna aspires to pursue a career in criminal or international law, where she hopes to advocate for necessary changes in our government and the criminal justice system. Outside of advocacy, Anna is a member of ALDC (Abraham Lincoln Dance Company), reflecting her school spirit and artistic expression. In her free time, you can find her getting a Coconut Mango Boom at Heytea, studying or exploring San Francisco with her friends.

  • Mabella Ng (she/her)

    Assistant Director

    Mabella Ng is a current senior at Lowell High School who serves as Youth for San Francisco’s 2026-2027 Assistant Director. She is active in being involved within the community, serving to uplift youth voices and culture. Through her leadership roles in student-led organizations — such as Adopt-An-Alleyway, LionDanceME, and Chinatown Community Development Center — Mabella hopes to aid in creating welcoming spaces for youth to thrive and succeed. At Lowell, Mabella serves as the President of Art Club and Chinese Cultural Club, where she aims to foster creativity and teach others about traditional cultural arts. Mabella hopes to further her education by attending university, later pursuing a career in communications or statistical studies. In her free time, Mabella enjoys trying out new coffee shops, thrifting, lion dancing, going to concerts, or creating art. You might find her wandering at Stonestown, relaxing on the beach, or hiking up a new mountain!

  • Linda Nguyen (she/her)

    Secretary

    Linda Nguyen is a senior at Lowell High School, serving her second year as Secretary for Youth for San Francisco. From a young age, Linda has always been passionate about empowering youth voices, uplifting under-represented communities, and bringing equal healthcare benefits for all. Through her involvement in SFMTA Youth Transportation Advisory Board, Bay Area Community Resources’s Youth Policy Leaders, and UCSF Teen Wellness Connection, she has continued to work towards supporting San Francisco’s impacted youth and communities through policy work, hosting educational initiatives, and creating a space for youth to have their voices heard. Following her interest in advocacy and community health, Linda intends to pursue a career in Public Health while conducting research on the health risks that low-income POC-communities have higher percentages of. At Lowell, she is involved in numerous science and community activities, such as serving as Secretary for the Lowell Science Research Program (LSRP), Vice President of Lowell’s Vietnamese Student Association, and representing students in LPTSA’s Grants Committee. In her free time, you can find Linda exploring new music genres, thrifting around SF, or watching the sunset at Ocean Beach.

  • Sienna Wong (she/her)

    Finance Director

    Sienna Wong is a senior at Lowell High School, serving the Youth For San Francisco's board as Finance Director. She strives to create an impact for youth in the Bay Area by raising awareness for current problems and advocating for underrepresented youth. Sienna’s goal with this organization is to create successful events for youth by collaborating with other organizations and fostering a community with the youth devoted to education in SF. She’s held various roles in organizations such as SF Flow, Empowering Youth Leaders, and To the Future and Beyond, in addition to being an intern with OFA. Sienna hopes to attend college, majoring in business and economics, with a minor in sociology, committed to this trajectory seen as a reflection of her dedication to Youth For SF. At Lowell, she is heavily involved with clubs and committees, participating in SBOAT 2027, Lowell Flow Club, Peer Mentoring, DECK Mentors, and Flag Football, serving as a captain. In Sienna’s free time, she loves to play flag football and immerse herself in music; she plays the viola in Lowell’s Symphonic Orchestra and is currently learning the guitar. She also always has her AirPods in her ear, listening to either Daniel Caesar or SZA. You can often find her with her friends either watching a basketball or football game at Lowell or searching for food at Stonestown or Lakeshore Plaza. 

  • Kaitlin Lam (she/her)

    Outreach Director

    Kaitlin Lam is a senior at Abraham Lincoln High School who serves as the Outreach Director for Youth for San Francisco. Her passion in supporting and uplifting youth voices and needs leads her to pursue a future career in pediatrics. Through her involvement in organizations such as Project Smile San Francisco and CCSC PK-5 Tutoring, Kaitlin aims to provide the youth of her community with sufficient, accessible resources to thrive and succeed. Besides youth advocacy, Kaitlin serves as the president of Koresence, the K-pop dance cover team at Lincoln, where she displays her enthusiasm for dance and performance. In her free time, Kaitlin enjoys dancing, video editing, and learning new languages!

  • Alina Nitedthunyakij (she/her)

    Events Director

    Alina Nitedthunyakij is a senior at Lowell High School who serves on the Youth For SF Board as the Events Director. Through her multifaceted experiences—as an assistant representative on the Student Advisory Council (SAC), Student Body Council Co–Community Liaison, intern at San Francisco Public Utilities Commission through Project Pull, and President of the Thai Club—she has cultivated a nuanced understanding of local civic issues and is committed to finding ways to alleviate them. Guided by her passion for environmental science and enriched by her childhood years spent living in Thailand, Alina aspires to pursue a career in environmental or immigration law, with the aim of effecting meaningful and systemic change within her community.  She is already driving such change through her pioneering establishment of a pen pal initiative within her school’s Thai Club, designed to foster cross-cultural dialogue and meaningful connections between students at her school and those at a public school in Thailand. In her leisure time, Alina enjoys baking for friends and family, as well as venturing outdoors to capture moments through film photography.

  • Sophia Lee (she/her)

    Social Media Director

    Sophia Lee is a current Sophomore at Summit Shasta High School and serves as the Social Media Director at Youth for San Francisco. Sophia is involved in other organizations such as being the Social Media Director at Mindful Artistry, PACA, and Project Pathway, and the Vice President at Sending Sunshine Club as she explores her creativity through her work. Inspired by her love for reading and writing especially from a young age, she aims to pursue a career in the film & media industry through writing with the intention of becoming an author and graphic designing. She plans to discover more about her career choices in San Francisco while gaining confidence and independence and further understand how much education connects to the real world. Additionally, her role in Sending Sunshine Club advocates for youth in her school to write handwritten cards to spread kindness and positivity. She lately has been loving to go biking with her friends and furthermore during her free time, she dances, crochets, plays guitar, binge watches her favorite shows, and blast her favorite music through her headphones.

  • Astrid Utting (she/her)

    Co-founder

    Astrid Utting is a Senior at Lowell High School and co-founded Youth for San Francisco. She began her involvement in local politics after witnessing how much of an impact local policies and leaders have on San Franciscan’s daily life and the critical role youth can play. She is a member of the San Francisco Women’s Political Committee PAC Committee, Lowell School Site Council, and is a Coro Youth Fellow. She previously interned in Supervisor Mandelman’s office and wrote a monthly teen column for the Noe Valley Voice. She enjoys exploring the city, cozying up with a good book (Or in reality a good TV show….), and baking.

  • Ewan Barker Plummer (he/him)

    Co-founder

    Ewan Barker Plummer is a Senior at Waldorf High School who serves as Outreach Director for Youth for San Francisco. He co-founded Youth for San Francisco in April of 2021 and now serves on the San Francisco Youth Commission representing young people citywide. Ewan began his involvement by volunteering on a District Attorney campaign and since then has worked to uplift the youth voices and concerns in the city. He serves on the Boards of the Alice B Toklas LGBTQ Democratic Club and United Democratic Club, and for fun likes to spend time with friends and binge-watch Netflix.
